2026 CGU Pre-med Enhancement Summer Program application opens!

The CGU Pre-med Enhancement Summer Program, hosted by Chang Gung University, offers an unparalleled academic and clinical foundation for aspiring medical professionals seeking a competitive edge in their journey to medical school. This intensive four-week curriculum seamlessly integrates theoretical excellence with practical immersion, featuring expert-led lectures in basic medical sciences alongside hands-on laboratory research and advanced simulation-based clinical training.

A hallmark of the program is the exclusive opportunity for clinical shadowing at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital—Taiwan’s premier medical center—where students witness frontline healthcare excellence firsthand. Furthermore, the program provides a distinctive exploration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, encompassing herbal medicine, acupuncture, and modernized diagnostic techniques, offering a truly holistic perspective on healing.

Complementing this rigorous academic schedule is a curated two-day cultural excursion designed to immerse students in the vibrant local heritage of Taiwan and foster a global network of lifelong friendships. By bridging the gap between classroom theory and clinical reality, this program delivers a transformative experience that prepares students to excel in the demanding landscape of medical school admissions.
