The Office of Research and Development is recruiting one Staff Member (full-time equivalent).

I. Job Description:
(I) Administration of research project grants and related operations.
(II) Administration of domestic and international academic exchange programs, talent cultivation programs, and award nomination applications.
(III) Compilation and submission of data for world university rankings.
(IV) Preparation of institutional reports and compilation and analysis of research performance outcomes.
(V) Administration and review of cross-institutional joint appointments.
(VI) Other duties and projects assigned by supervisors on an ad-hoc basis.

The percentage allocation of the above responsibilities may be adjusted based on the successful candidate's expertise after reporting for duty and with the approval of the Office of R&D supervisor.

II. Employment Information:
(I) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 17:00 (The lunch break is from 12:30 to 13:00), weekends off.
(II) Salary and Benefits: Based on the university's salary management regulations, the monthly salary is approximately NT$43,440 or NT$44,970 (Candidates with master’s degree and relevant experience in full-time positions at least two years), with year-end and festival bonuses.
(III) Education and Experience Requirements: Graduation from a university or college with a bachelor’s degree or above.
(IV) Computer Skills: Basic computer operation and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
(V) Other Qualifications: Demonstrated strong communication abilities, a proactive and enthusiastic work ethic, attention to detail and a sense of responsibility, the capacity to manage administrative duties autonomously, and a collaborative team spirit.
(VI) Candidates with relevant experience in formal full-time positions at public or private schools may have their salary grade adjusted based on their years of service.
(VII) Successful candidates will initially be appointed as contracted reserve staff members. Upon passing a one-year performance evaluation, training and meeting the English proficiency requirement (Note), a request will be submitted for their transfer to a formal tenured position. The contract will be terminated if the evaluation is not passed. Contracted reserve staff members are entitled to labor insurance, national health insurance, and bonuses for the three major festivals and year-end bonus. Upon passing the performance evaluation and being formally appointed as a tenured staff member, they will be entitled to public servant insurance, national health insurance, and bonuses for the three major festivals and year-end bonus.

(II) Candidates who pass the initial screening will be notified of the written test and interview schedule. Those who do not meet the qualifications will not be notified separately and submitted application materials will not be returned. [Note]: English proficiency threshold for formal tenured officer positions: Applicants should possess a TOEIC score of 600 or above, pass the GEPT High-Intermediate Preliminary Level, or provide other equivalent proof of English proficiency (the evaluation standards for equivalent English proficiency are based on the university Language Center's announced regulations for the English graduation threshold)
